Your understanding of those issues can help remind him, and your reassurance there is most beneficial. In our sessions he lets himself alone, and in class and with Sumari, and with poetry. He knows what that feeling is. Tell him to let his body alone in the same fashion. It might take a bit before he understands what that means enough to practice it, but he can understand.

Give us a moment.... He has been over-suggesting again, particularly at nap time—at himself too much. The morning and evening suggestions should be given, and as mentioned in the last session. Beyond that he should leave himself alone—as far as specific suggestions are concerned.

When he finds himself thinking that he cannot walk properly, have him at least recognize the thought, as a thought and belief. That brief recognition alone will give him a moment of reflection. The reflection will automatically set up a gap of time in which he is not acting automatically in response to the negative suggestion.
