(Re the sentence by Seth about a book for Macmillan Co.: Richard Bach, of Seagull fame, and his editor from Macmillan, Eleanor Friede, are to visit us on Tuesday, September 19, according to a note Jane has received from him.)

I want you (speaking to me) to purposely liberate more of your own exuberance. You have in the past not fully realized the abundance of energy personally open and available to you, the overflow that makes everything easy. There will be a book with Macmillan, and others. And there will be other developments out of our sessions, and other books of my own also.

(I thought she might be unhappy about a letter she received last Monday from the Macmillan Co. [...] The fact that Macmillan stated they thought another publisher would take on The Fence, had not, I thought, particularly cheered Jane, at least at the moment.
